This Privacy Policy explains how Pacey ("Pacey", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by One Take Agency LLC under the brand Initial Win, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website at trypacey.com, our web app at app.trypacey.com, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide directly
- Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address, name, profile picture (if you sign in with Google), and authentication credentials.
- Listings and content. Photos, descriptions, prices, titles, and tags you create for items you list on the marketplace.
- Messages. Direct messages between you and other users on the Service.
- Payment and payout details. If you sell items, we may collect payout information through our payment processor (only to the extent needed to facilitate transactions).
- Support communications. If you email us at [email protected], we retain that correspondence.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, and pages you visit on the Service.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Session cookies for authentication and a small number of cookies used to remember your preferences.
- Crash and performance logs. Anonymous error reports to help us fix bugs.
Information from third parties
- Google Sign-In. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google's OAuth service. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, or any other Google data.

- To create and operate your account
- To display your listings on the marketplace and enable transactions
- To enable messaging between you and other users
- To run our AI-powered listing tools (titles, pricing, photo analysis)
- To improve the Service, debug issues, and prevent abuse or fraud
- To send transactional emails (e.g., sign-in confirmations, message notifications, important account updates)
- To respond to your support requests
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers for targeted advertising outside of our own Service.
3. Third-party services we use
To run the Service, we share specific information with the following providers under their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting (privacy policy)
- Google — Sign-In with Google for authentication (privacy policy)
- OpenAI — AI processing of listing photos and text (privacy policy). We do not send personally identifiable information through this service beyond what is necessary to generate listing content.
- Cloudflare — content delivery and DDoS protection (privacy policy)
- Resend — transactional email delivery (privacy policy)
4. How long we keep your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes).
5. Your rights and choices
- Access & export. You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction. You can update your profile information at any time inside the app.
- Deletion. You can delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We will process the request within 30 days.
- Opt out of marketing. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (sign-in, account, transaction) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other regions with similar privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Contact us at [email protected] to exercise any of these rights.
6. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit via HTTPS, encrypted storage at rest, role-based access) to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information and update our practices when we identify new risks.
8. International transfers
Our servers and third-party providers are located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, if appropriate, notify you by email or in-app notice.
